We’re thrilled to announce that Elle Foreman has been named Salon Stylist of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2025—one of the industry’s highest honours. The award recognises exceptional skill, consistent service, and ongoing commitment to growth.
Elle’s path hasn’t been typical. She began her career as a salon coordinator and manager before stepping behind the chair to follow her creative instincts. That client-focused background shaped her approach from day one—professional, personal, and always led with purpose.
What sets Elle apart is how she makes people feel.
Each appointment starts before the client arrives, with reference imagery, clear expectations, and an in-person consultation. In the chair, she begins with: “How do you want to feel?” not just “What are we doing today?” Her consultations are honest, visual, and grounded in reality—no fluff, no false promises.
She reads the room, matching her energy to the client’s. Talkative or quiet, first visit or long-time regular—every appointment ends with a personalised hair plan and, where needed, a thoughtful follow-up. Her care is consistent, and it shows.
Beyond the salon, Elle is just as driven. She won the L’Oréal Colour Trophy Star Award in 2022, was a BHA Newcomer finalist in 2024, and earned a place on the Fellowship FAME Team, mentored by Sally Brooks. She’s completed the Aveda Colour Master programme, taught internationally, and worked alongside leaders like Harriet Stokes and Anneliese Hesse.
At Tribe, she leads from within—mentoring stylists, supporting apprentices, and helping grow our team from the inside out. Today, over 60% of our stylists are home-grown, thanks in no small part to Elle’s guidance.
