We are finally ready to reopen our salons and excited to welcome you back to Tribe!

If you have booked or are looking to book an appointment, please carefully read our updated reopening information & safety guidance so that you know what to expect before you visit the salon.

Colour Pricing

We endeavour to book everyone in for the right service with the correct amount of time, but please be aware that due to the circumstances, your usual colour services may incur an additional cost if we require more time & product for your hair.

Your Stylist will discuss this with you before the start of your colour service.

Appointment timings

We ask for your patience and understanding if appointment times run over during our busiest times.

We are doing a lot of corrective work which can sometimes take longer. We also need extra time to ensure everything is sanitised properly.

Our team will be trying their best to ensure the salons run as smoothly as possible so you can relax and enjoy your experience with us.

PPE Surcharge

We currently have a £2 surcharge to cover the cost of PPE used for every guest and visit.

In an effort to limit the impact we have on the environment we have made some key changes to the way in which we recycle everything we use.

Allergy Testing

When booking colour services you will need to come in to the salon for an allergy test if:

  • You haven’t had a colour appointment with us before/ within the last 6 months.
  • You have used home colour/ box dyes since your last appointment.

Making an appointment

Our salons will be back open and phone lines operating as normal from 12th April.

You can now request an appointment online using our website app. Please note that some services requested online will require manual confirmation from our team and are subject to availability.

We require card details in order to secure any future appointments by phone or online. No payment will be taken at the time of booking.

If an appointment is missed, cancelled or rescheduled without the required 24 hours minimum notice, the appointment will be charged in full. Please see our usual cancellation policy.

Here are some of safety measures we have put in place

Responsibility

The safety and wellbeing of our team and guests is our priority.

We have followed government guidance and endeavoured to take every precaution to ensure that our salon environment is as safe as possible.

We would like to make it clear that due to the close contact nature of our work, it is impossible to completely eliminate risk of catching Coronavirus in hair salons.

If you are classed as extremely vulnerable or worried about the risk to your health, we do not recommend making an appointment with us at this time.

Ultimately it is the choice and responsibility of the individual to decide whether it is safe to visit our salons.

If you are showing symptom of Coronavirus

In order to protect our team & guests we reserve the right to reschedule appointments for guests showing the following symptoms (however mild):

  • Continuous cough
  • High temperature
  • Loss/ change taste or smell

Arriving for appointments

Please arrive on time for your appointment. We’ve temporarily suspended our waiting area, so if you’re too early we may need you wait outside until another guest has left.

Please come alone

Please do not bring friends, family members or pets to your appointment unless you need assistance for health reasons or have a guide dog.

Limit your belongings

Please avoid bring unnecessary items such as large bags or cases, shopping, coats & bicycles.

Card Payments Preferred

We will be accepting both cash and card payments but encourage Apple Pay/ contactless payment where possible.

Reduced Numbers

Our salons are not huge which makes social distancing a challenge. As a temporary solution we have extended our opening hours and rotated our team to reduce the number of people in our salons.

Face Coverings

In order to limit the risk to our team we require that all guests bring and wear a face masks whilst in the salon. Our Stylists will be provided with face coverings and PPE inline with government guidance.

Enhanced Cleaning Routine

We will have a regular enhanced cleaning routine for all touch points in the salon. The team will have cleaning equipment on hand at their workstation and basins to ensure all tools and equipment are sanitised after each use.

Hand Hygiene

The most effective way to stop the spread is good hand hygiene. Hand sanitiser will be provided and we request that you use it on entry to the salon and before you leave.

Reception & Waiting Area

We have installed protective screens at the reception desk and adapted our waiting areas to improve social distancing.

Refreshments

We regrettably can only serve filtered water at this time. We are hoping to launch a new refreshments menu as soon as practically possible. You are welcome to bring tea or coffee with you to your appointment.

Magazines

We have digital magazines available that you can read by scanning a QR code with your phone or tablet. Please ask your stylist for more information.

Retail Area

When in our retail area we discourage the touching of products on display. Please ask our front of house team who will be on hand to help with any purchases.
