Hi, I’m Marcie! I’m currently halfway through my Level 2 NVQ in Hairdressing, combining my studies with plenty of hands-on training at Tribe.

My love of hair started when I was young, practising hair-up styles on a training head. Now I get to learn from the Tribe team, meet new people and develop my skills every day, which is one of my favourite things about working in a salon.

At the moment, I’m loving herringbone highlights and learning how small details can make a big difference to the finished colour. I also really enjoy working with textured and curly hair, especially diffusing and twist styling to bring out each client’s natural texture.

I’m naturally caring and love making people feel relaxed in my chair. Watching someone’s hair transform is great, but seeing their confidence grow is even better. My aim is for every client to leave feeling pampered, refreshed and ready to enjoy their new hair.

Seeing the Tribe team take part in Fellowship projects has inspired me to keep learning, push myself and discover where my own hairdressing career could take me.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me enjoying a pamper day or doing a little retail therapy!
