Trainee Hair Stylist

I’m currently completing my hairdressing apprenticeship with college while working four days a week at Tribe. This gives me the chance to gain hands-on salon experience, learn from experienced stylists and keep developing my skills.

I was first drawn to hairdressing because I’ve always enjoyed being creative and helping people feel confident. I love seeing how a great hairstyle can change how someone feels and give them a boost.

At the moment, I’m focusing on improving my blow-drying, styling and consultation skills. I especially enjoy creating smooth, sleek finishes and bouncy blow-dries, and it’s exciting to see my confidence grow with every client.

What I enjoy most about salon life is being part of a team, meeting new people and learning something different every day. I like getting to know clients, making them feel comfortable and ensuring they feel looked after throughout their appointment.

As I progress, I’d love to become a successful stylist, build a loyal client base and continue growing within the industry. I’d also like to take part in photoshoots, competitions and industry events, with the long-term goal of owning my own business.

Outside the salon, I enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music and taking time to relax and recharge.
