Trainee Stylist

I’m currently completing my hairdressing apprenticeship at college, where train once a week. The rest of the week, you’ll find me in the salon learning from the team, working with clients and building my skills.

I was first drawn to hairdressing because I’ve always been interested in hair and beauty, and I love being creative. I also enjoy helping people feel good about themselves and seeing the confidence a fresh cut, colour or style can give them.

At the moment, I’m developing my cutting, colouring and styling skills, while also working on my confidence and client consultations. I enjoy working with all hair types, but I especially like creating fresh cuts and natural-looking colour.

What I enjoy most about salon life is the atmosphere, meeting new people and working as part of a friendly team. I want every client to feel relaxed in my chair and leave feeling happy, confident and excited about their hair.

As I progress, I’d love to become a confident, qualified stylist with my own regular clients. I’m also interested in the creative side of hairdressing and would love to take part in photoshoots, competitions and industry events.

Outside the salon, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, keeping up with hair inspiration on Instagram and TikTok, and feeding my shopping addiction.
